In the fall of 2012 I decided to use the faux sgraffito technique to write some autumnal eggs.  Rather than pastel pink, blue and green, I used brighter colors.  I dyed the eggs yellow, and then painted on areas of red, orange, light green and sometimes pink. Final colors depended a lot on shell quality.
