The pysanky shown on this page were some first attempts at using the faux sgraffito technique with floral designs.  I tried writing a floral design like those of Iryna Vakh.

but they were a bit too rigid for me.  I played with the concept, utilizing more freeform styles of the sort found in Elyjiw’s collection of Sokal pysanky, until I came up with a style of my own..
