In 2007 I also made my very first brown egg snowflake pysanky, and have added a few now and again since then.  The effect is quite nice, and quite different from those made on whit eggs.  Dye colors look quite different on brown eggs. 

A few of the eggs are “upside-down,” with the large end on top.  I made my first pysanka ornaments with the traditional egg orientation (pointy end up), but have decided that they look a bit more like traditional ornaments with the large end up.
