This year we made pysanky on a Saturday, after Ukrainian school.  The turnout was much bigger, as almost all of the students attended.  This meant I had little time for photos, as I spent most of my time helping my students write and dye eggs.


Some of the students were pros, having made pysanky since kindergarten, and spent the time improving their techniques.  Others, especially among the immigrants, were new to the art, and required much more help and instruction.  All seemed to enjoy themselves, and were quite pleased with their pysanky.


There were tears, though, as eggs fall and eggs break.....
