Christmas

While Santa was busy in his workshop, I was working away in my basement on a series of Christmas pysanky.  I created a set of Christmas designs for my nieces and nephew to use in making their own Christmas gifts this year.  I personally refer making snowflake eggs at Christmas time, but they needed some simpler and more colorful patterns.  The eggs below are my original patterns; the eggs on this page are those made by my nieces and nephew.

I also made a special set of personalized pysanka-style ornaments just for them: stockings, with their names written on them, and a gift or two poking out (see the last last six photos below).

On this set of Christmas egg ornaments, I placed the design on one side, and wrote the year “2007” on the other with a silver Sharpie marker.
