The map at right shows the location of Torhovytsia within Ivano Frankivsk oblast.

Pysanky labeled “MVH” are from a collection of pysanky from Torhovytsia, Horodenka raion, IF oblast (Pokuttia). These were written by M.V. Hotsuliak (b. 1922) and photographed in the Museum of the Pysanka, July 2011.

The pysanky are from two separate displays; the quality of some photos is less than optimal, but they are clear enough to recreate the designs. The pysanky were strung in a namysto behind glass, so the views of some are quite limited.
