The photos below are of pysanky photographed by Vira Manko (or her assistants), and the designs all hail from the village of Illintsi in the Sniatyn region.

The map at right shows the location of Illintsi within Ivano Frankivsk oblast.

These are pysanky that were for sale at the annual Zabolotiv Easter market. The photos are not always the best, as they were taken under less than optimal circumstances–rain, wind, darkness and arms full of purchases.  I have included them all not for their aesthetic qualities, but because they are good source material.

The Zaboloitv market usually has lots of pysanky from Illintsi, its neighboring town.
