I first made these miniature jack-o-lanterns just before Halloween of 2005, using small chicken eggs. Although Halloween is all about goblins, ghosts and things that go bump in the night, it seems that most of my pumpkin pysanky were happy instead of scary.
(Technical note: these pysanky were made before I discovered how good Goof-Off wipes were at removing pencil lines, and it shows.)
