The Chernihiv region is ethnographically part of Eastern Polissia (next plate). Color schemes and geometric designs similar to those of Poltava region, but with a greater predominance of floral designs.  White pysanky (not pictured by Binyashevsky) are quite common here, along with those with other light colored backgrounds, like the yellow pysanka below.
