These are photos I took of the display of traditional pysanky of the Kyiv region at the National Museum of Decorative Arts located in the Pecherska Lavra (Monastery of the Caves). They are from the late 19th to early 20th centuries.

The photos were taken under low ambient light; I have edited the photos to show the pysanky individually. Some, unfortunately, are out of focus or have obstructed views; I will have to go back next summer and try to get better photos.

These were pysanky made with natural dyes, which have faded.
