Stars, stars and more stars!
Stars are one of the most common motifs found on pysanky. They are usually eight pointed, and of of several types--the large ones found on the sides or tops and bottoms of pysanky, which are called ruzhi, and the smaller ones, often foudn in bands, called zirky, zvizdi or shterny.
